While many Bay Area cities are cutting back on their Independence Day festivities, the City of Benicia is once again putting on an amazing celebration with an evening parade the night before the 4th and an amazing fireworks presentation the following evening.

Benicia's Independence Day parade stretches north along First Street and includes dancers, floats, clowns, and entertainment.
Picnic in the Park & Fireworks
Enjoy a Picnic In The Park from noon to 7 pm, then a fireworks show at 9 pm on July 4, 2019 at the Benicia City Park.
It's a fun day to get out with your neighbors and unwind. To celebrate Independence Day, Benicia’s City Park fills with arts and crafts, delicious hot food, live entertainment and children’s activities. Fireworks start about 9 pm at the foot of First Street making this a great event for the entire family.
