Holiday Open House, 12/6
First Street merchants, all along with Benicia Main Street and the City of Benicia, host this ever-popular Holiday Open House at the beginning of the Christmas Season on December 6th from 6 to 9 pm. First Street is completely closed to traffic allowing revelers to visit merchants offering beverages and treats and showing off their holiday goods while costumed carolers sing traditional Christmas tunes. Live entertainment, wagon rides, and the Christmas Tree lighting add a festive atmosphere to this family event.
Christmas Parade and Holiday Market, 12/14
The City of Benicia always does an amazing Parade and Holiday Market every December, and this year it is held on Saturday the 14th. In its 25th year, this amazing Christmas Parade & Holiday Market takes over First Street with holiday cheer at 10 am, as it brings the holiday spirit to everyone along the route.
The parade begins at First and D Streets and will end at H Street, featuring local marching bands, regional dancers, and the much-anticipated appearance of Santa Claus himself. The parade is always followed by the Holiday Market at First & D Streets and includes handcrafted arts & crafts, gourmet items, and delicious foods.
The Holiday Market features handcrafted and gourmet gift items at great prices. It will run from 10 am to 3 pm and is located on First Street between B and D Streets.
Have a happy and memorable holiday season with your family and friends this year from all of us at Benicia Plumbing!
